Our organisation consists of four business areas:

- Advisory services
- Outsourcing services for financial administration.
Our business areas are served by our support functions: Marketing, Communication and Sales, HR and Administration, and Quality and Risk Management.
BDO Finland is part of an international cooperation network of auditing firms. BDO is the fifth largest organisation providing auditing and expert services in Finland and internationally. BDO Oy has signed a membership agreement with BDO International Ltd, a company registered in England. The national membership organisations of BDO are separate, independent legal entities.
All of our membership organisations are committed to best practices in the sector, such as high-quality services and the maintenance of professional operating principles, expertise and risk management. BDO has more than 111 000 experts in 164 countries. In Finland, we employ 300 people across the country.
Ownership and shareholders
All of the shareholders of BDO Oy work for the company and actively participate in its day-to-day operations.
Board of Directors and Management Group
The annual general meeting is the highest decision-making body of the company. It elects the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors selects the Managing Director and the Management Group. The Chair of the Board and more than half of its members are auditors authorised by the Central Chamber of Commerce who work for the company. Tiina Lind serves as the Chairman of the Board.
The Managing Director is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the company in line with the decisions made and instructions provided by the Board. Taneli Mustonen serves as the Managing Director of BDO Oy.
The Management Group assists the Managing Director with preparing and making decisions and with operational management.
