BDO’s growth continued in Finland and internationally

BDO’s financial information during accounting period 2020

BDO Finland’s revenue for the accounting period that ended on 31 August 2020 totalled EUR 25.2 million. Revenues grew 3.2% from the previous accounting period.

During the past accounting period, the number of professionals at BDO in Finland increased by 12.4% to 244 people. In addition to the steady growth in the number of our permanent personnel, during the accounting period we provided trainee positions to over 30 experts in the early stages of their careers. 
 

Everything we do starts from the desire to help

During the past accounting period, the whole world underwent a profound change due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of this change, the core of our operations, i.e. the desire to help, became even more important.

“In March, we quickly changed our working practices and started operating as a partially virtual organisation. Even though we already had good routines and tools for working with colleagues in different locations, it took time to get used to virtual client visits and remote discussions with colleagues. While we were getting used to the new way of doing things, we thought about what our clients needed at that exact moment. We are working continuously to offer quality solutions for change and for the new normal,” says the CEO of BDO Oy Taneli Mustonen.

In addition to helping, the key principles of our operations are the independence of our audits, other services and professionals, the high quality of our expert services and exceptional customer service.

We regularly ask our clients for feedback on how we have succeeded, and we are constantly developing our services and working practices to ensure that we can continue to meet our clients’ expectations also in the future.  Of those who responded to our customer satisfaction survey, 90%* gave us an overall grade of very good or good. Our Net Promoter Score was 61*, which is an excellent result.

BDO’s global growth continued

The revenue of the international BDO network also continued to grow during the past accounting period. The total combined revenue of the international BDO network was EUR 9.2 billion. There was growth of 7.8% compared to the previous accounting period.  

The global number of BDO professionals has increased by 3.3% and now totals 91,054 people. BDO serves clients in 167 countries and 1,658 offices. BDO Global’s financial report can be read here.
