Register service for commitment management for municipalities and joint municipal authorities
The reformed Local Government Act requires municipalities and joint municipal authorities to provide information about the commitments of their elected officials and key office holders in a public information network as of June 2017. Audit committees will be obligated by law to monitor compliance with the disclosure requirements and inform municipal councils about the disclosures.
This will increase openness and transparency in decision-making. The commitment management register serves to prevent situations where trust could be compromised. BDO offers a register service for municipalities and joint municipal authorities to ensure compliance with the law effortlessly and cost-efficiently. Our service enables you to ensure the transparency of the required information and the availability of up-to-date information without compromising information security.
