Peltitarvike Oy is expanding its operations through the acquisition of Keravan Teräsmiehet Oy, which will join the family-owned Peltitarvike group as a sister company. The acquisition strengthens Peltitarvike's expertise, particularly in the manufacturing and development of sheet metal products.
Keravan Teräsmiehet Oy is a metal industry company specializing in the subcontract manufacturing of sheet metal components and assemblies for Finnish machinery and equipment manufacturers. The company has more than 30 years of experience in the production of, among other things, frames and enclosures for electrical distribution systems.
The acquisition brings together two Finnish family-owned companies with a combined experience of nearly a century in sheet metal manufacturing. As a result of the transaction, both companies will be able to offer their customers a broader and more flexible range of services.
BDO acted as lead financial, legal, and tax advisor to Hima Capital, the owner of Peltitarvike Oy, in its acquisition of Keravan Teräsmiehet Oy.
