Finnish company Miilux Oy is acquiring Metso Oyj's loading and transportation business, which employs approximately 100 people in Kokkola and Kalajoki in Finland, as well as in Luleå, Sweden. The transaction also includes assets and facilities related to the business operations.
Miilux, owned by Miilukangas Oy and the Turkish pension fund OYAK, manufactures and supplies wear-resistant and protective steel products and solutions for demanding applications, leveraging its own brands and innovations. The acquisition broadens Miilux's product and service offering and strengthens its ability to meet customer needs more effectively.
