Suomen Koneliike Oy, a member of the Helkama Group, acquired all shares in Suomen Kodinkonetukku Oy on 31 August 2021.
Founded in 1993, Suomen Kodinkonetukku is an importer and wholesaler of household appliances. Since 2016, the company has served as an official distributor of Helkama-branded household appliances under a licensing agreement with Suomen Koneliike. Helkama appliances, alongside Luxor televisions, have been among Suomen Kodinkonetukku's key product categories, and the company has focused particularly on the import and distribution of mid-priced household appliances.
The Helkama Group has a long history in the Finnish household appliance market. Through the acquisition, the Finnish family-owned company, established in 1905, strengthens and expands its household appliance business, which remains one of its best-known business areas.
